Watch it

“Top Chef” (9 p.m., Bravo). It’s here more out of habit than for watchability. This season is pretty bad. Tonight the cheftestants try to make Ethiopian food (that’ll be a disaster) and then cook ethnic dishes for diplomats. Top Chef Master Jerk Marcus Samuelsson is a guest judge.

“Pros vs Joes” (10 p.m., Spike). An ordinary dude gets into a shooting contest with Warriors legend Chris Mullin and then tries to post up on Rick Fox. There’s no way Mullin loses a shooting contest; I could watch that guy drain jumpers all day.

Record it

“Air Jaws” marathon (7, 8 and 9 p.m., Discovery). For the first time ever (EVER!), catch the original “Air Jaws: Sharks of South Africa” from 2001, 2002’s follow-up “Air Jaws II: Even Higher” and the new “Ultimate Air Jaws” all in a row. They’re all awesome and totally worth seeing. And even better than the “Air Bud” sequels.

“Dark Blue” (9 p.m., TNT). Season premiere. Dylan McDermott & Co. are back in the two-hour season premiere of this undercover cop drama. Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) guest-stars tonight as an FBI agent. Err, I should say, a hot FBI agent.

“Psych” (10 p.m., USA). Jean Smart guest-stars as a rich widow who’s young boyfriend — and possible con man — was killed.

“Work of Art: The Next Great Artist” (10 p.m., Bravo). The final four go to the country to create nature-inspired pieces.

Skip it

“Real World” (10 p.m., MTV). The cops come to the house as Ryan and Preston’s feud heats up. Both these dudes should go far, far away from our TV screens. (For those who don’t know, Preston peed on Ryan’s toothbrush, while Ryan called him stuck Preston’s cigarettes where the sun don’t shine.  They’re both gonna get like hepatitis Z.)

“Criss Angel: Mindfreak” (10 p.m., A&E). Season premiere. He tries to jump the Grand Canyon using a motorcycle-car hybrid. Normally, that’s be cool. But with Criss Angel involved, you know it’ll suck.
