Watch it

“True Blood” (9 p.m., HBO). Sookie continues her search for Bill. And I’m still catching up on Season 2. Gettin’ there though. . . .

“Hung” (10 p.m., HBO). Season premiere. Tanya looks for pimping advice from a pro, as she and Lenore squabble over Ray. I’m glad this show’s back, it was a pleasant surprise last summer. Warning to newbies though: It’s decidedly adult content. (Come on, a show about a well-endowed man-ho? How could it not be?)

“Entourage” (10:30 p.m., HBO). Season premiere. The gang is back. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not; the show’s really lost its fastball over the past few seasons. Anyway, tonight Vince tries to do a dangerous stunt, Drama is desperate for work and Ari want to own an NFL team.

Record it

“Next Food Network Star” (9 p.m., Food Network). Bobby Flay makes the cheftestants cook with various peppers.

“Leverage” (9 and 10 p.m., TNT). In the early episode, Richard Chamberlain guest stars as the gang tries to rescue Parker. Later, the gang hatches a plan to rob a corrupt African politician.

“Team Coco Presents: Conan’s Writers Live” (10 p.m., TBS). Andy Richter hosts a comedy special with the writers from Conan O’Brien’s show.

“HGTV Design Star” (10 p.m., HGTV). The designers create patios inspired by music.

World Cup

England vs. Germany (7 a.m., ESPN). Get ready for a war reference or two. The British tabloids are going to have a field day after Germany wins.

Mexico vs. Argentina (11:30 a.m., ABC). Argentina looks unbeatable right now, but this should still be a fun game.

Skip it

Daytime Emmy Awards (9 p.m., CBS). None of the shows are worth watching during the day; why bother wasting your night?
