Watch it
World Cup: USA vs. England (11:30 a.m., ABC). If you only watch one World Cup game, this is the one. England is one of the most talented teams in the world, and while the Americans aren’t in their class, they have enough spunk to pull off a surprise. There’s been a ton of hype on both sides of the Atlantic for this one, and it should be a lot of fun to watch.
Other games
World Cup: Greece vs. South Korea (4:30 a.m., ESPN). If you’re not asleep, this game should help you out.
Argentina vs. Nigeria (7 a.m., ESPN). Could be a shootout between two terrific offenses. If for no other reason, it’s worth tuning in to see Argentina’s Lionel Messi, the best player in the world (shut up, Cristiano Ronaldo).
Algeria vs. Slovenia (4:30 a.m. Sunday, ESPN). There’s a reason it’s on this early.
Baseball: Giants vs. A’s (6 p.m., CSN-BA, CSN-CA). An early evening game from the friendly confines of McCovey Cove.
Record it
Lewis Black: “Stark Raving Black “ (9 p.m., Comedy Central). He can be funny, but I find him more annoying.
Robert Klein: “Unfair and Unbalanced” (10 p.m., HBO). A new standup special from the veteran comedian, who also does musical numbers.
Skip it
“Three Rivers” (8 p.m., CBS). Remember this show? CBS canceled it back in the fall and is burning off episodes now. So don’t get attached.
