Watch it

NBA Finals: Celtics vs. Lakers (5 p.m., ABC). Game 2 from L.A. Yikes, if Game 1 was any indication, this could get ugly.

“Breaking Bad” (10 p.m., AMC). Jesse ignores Walt’s warnings and gets himself into a situation he might not be able to walk away from. This is the second-to-last episode of the season, so expect  a wham-bang buildup to next week’s finale.

“The Hard Times of RJ Berger” (11 p.m., MTV). Series premiere. MTV goes scripted with this series about a nerdy high school kid who gains newfound respect when everyone finds out he’s remarkably well-endowed. It’s sure to be raunchy and incredibly juvenile, but still might be kinda funny, in a “Superbad” way. Obviously not for everyone.

Record it

“Next Food Network Star” (9 p.m., Food Network). Season premiere. The competition is on once again to become the next Guy Fieri.

“Ice Road Truckers” (9 p.m., History). Season premiere. Cool off on a warm summer day with some Arctic ice. Ahhhhhh.

“Drop Dead Diva” (9 p.m., Lifetime). Season premiere. The better-then-expected dramedy about a vapid model’s spirit inhabiting a smart, plus-sized woman is back for a second season. Tonight Jane faces disbarment.

“How Whiskey Made America” (10 p.m., Discovery). A look at whiskey’s impact on shaping American history and culture. Sounds kinda cool.

“Treme” (10 p.m., HBO). New Orleans prepares for its first Mardi Gras since Katrina, and LaDonna has to keep her brother’s death a secret.

“Top Shot” (10 p.m., History). Series premiere. A new reality show pitting 16 marksmen against each other shooting various rifles. Oh wait, I should clarify: They’re shooting targets, not at each other. Though that’d be an awesome reality show. Like “The Most Dangerous Game.” Ehh, give it a few years.

MTV Movie Awards (9 p.m., MTV). Spoiler alert: “New Moon” and “Avatar” will win everything. Yawn. Aziz Ansari should be funny as the host though.

“Kate Plus 8” (9 p.m., TLC). Series premiere. Good lord, haven’t we all had enough of her? Stop watching her scar her children for life.
