Watch it

“MythBusters” (9 p.m., Discovery). Adam and Jamie test the combustible combination of pepper spray and Tasers. Cooool.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” (10 p.m. TV Guide Channel). Typically, when an HBO show goes into syndication it has to be chopped up to fit commercials into a 30-minute airing. But TV Guide Channel is doing something different. Each episode will take up an hour, and include a panel discussion on the moral and ethical issues raised by the story. Don’t worry, “Curb” isn’t becoming “Davey and Goliath,” the panel is composed of folks like series creator Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Susie Essman and Larry Miller. It’s an intriguing concept, almost like a DVD extra, and it really revitalizes an otherwise typical rerun. Pretty, pretty interesting.

Record it

“Are We There Yet?” (9 and 9:30 p.m., TBS). Series premiere. A new sitcom based on the Ice Cube movie. Might be a decent choice to watch with your kids, but I can’t think of a single other reason to tune in.

“In Plain Sight” (10 p.m., USA). Laura San Giacomo guest stars as a woman trying to go into witness protection to escape her mob-tied family.

“Top Chef Masters” (10 p.m., Bravo). The remaining chefs must use improvisational skills to cook a dish based on just three words. Um, is it “Make something good”?

Skip it

“So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox). No, I don’t.

“America’s Got Talent” (9 p.m., NBC). But these people don’t.
