Watch it

“Secrets of the Dead” (8 p.m., PBS). A documentary about Churchill’s decision use the Royal Navy to attack the French fleet in 1940. It’s one of the more interesting forgotten stories of WWII.

“Modern Family” (9 p.m., ABC). Continuing from where we left off last week, the whole fam-damily vacations in Hawaii. I sure hope Manny doesn’t find a cursed tiki that causes surfing wipeouts and falling pictures and tarantula attacks.

“Cougar Town” (9:30 p.m., ABC). Travis graduates from high school, but of course Jules makes it all about her. I know it’s a sitcom, but she’s kinda an awful mom.

“Top Chef Masters” (10 p.m., Bravo). The five remaining chefs cook for the cast and crew of “The Simpsons.” Think someone will make a Flaming Moe?

Record it

“America’s Next Top Model” (8 p.m., The CW). The winner is revealed in the season finale.

“MythBusters” (9 p.m., Discovery). More duct tape myths are tested. Sounds awesome.

“American Masters” (10 p.m., PBS). Johnny Depp narrates “The Doors: When You’re Strange,” a documentary about the iconic rock band using footage (much of it previously unseen) shot between 1965 and ’71.

“In Plain Sight” (10 p.m., USA). Agent Faber is lookin to get sweet on Mary.

Skip it

“Happy Town” (10 p.m., ABC). It’s getting yanked from the schedule after tonight, so don’t bother getting too attached.

“My Strange Addiction” (10 p.m., TLC). Tonight: A woman who eats chalk. I don’t understand, what is TLC doing airing a show that doesn’t involve midgets or oversized families?
