Watch it

NCAA Tournament (starting at 4 p.m., CBS). March Madness continues with the Sweet 16. West Virginia and Pac-10 champ Washington tip off at 4:25, followed by perhaps the game of the weekend, top-seeded (and now tournament favorite) Kentucky against Cinderella-story Cornell at 6:55. Should be a fun night.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). The crew go to a bar after work and Michael gets kicked out after going overboard trying to impress Jam’s friend. Meh. Hope this isn’t as lame as last week’s episode.

“30 Rock” (9:30 p.m., NBC). Liz’s ex-boyfriend Floyd is back from Cleveland with big news. And disturbing details about Kenneth’s childhood are revealed. (What, like you didn’t already know he’s a 300-year-old vampire?)

Record it

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m. NBC). Leslie hopes to draw inspiration at a picnic for former Parks & Rec directors. What she finds . . . . ehhh, not so inspiring.

“Ace of Cakes” (10:30 p.m., Food Network). Season premiere. Duff and the gang are back. Tonight, a crew from DIY Network’s “Man Caves” comes and gives Duff’s basement a makeover. How’s that for network synergy? (Scripps Network owns both.)

Check a score

A’s vs. Giants (7 p.m., CSN-BA). It’s a transbay matchup from Scottsdale, Ariz. Check out one of the first three innings. After that, it’ll be mostly the scrubs playing, and if you’re not there in the stands wearing shorts and holding a beer, there’s no point.

Skip it

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). I know there are fans of this show, but I’m not one. And from the looks of things, neither is ABC. Consider this: after a five-month break between episodes, it’s thrown onto the schedule opposite the NCAA Tournament, which trounced it last week. Feels like ABC is just burning up episodes, which doesn’t bode well for a serialized drama. Just don’t get too attached.
