Watch it

“Lost” (9 p.m., ABC). It’s a Sayid-centered episode, which is good news. We’ll also find out what happens when Crazy Claire makes it to the temple. (And is Sawyer with Not Locke? If so, how did he climb up that broken ladder?)

“Parenthood” (10 p.m., NBC). Don’t let the hype scare you off. This family dramedy adapted from the 20-year-old Steve Martin movie has a top-notch cast and looks pretty good. As an added bonus, the series is set in Berkeley (and shot largely in the East Bay and Marin), so there’ll be plenty of Bay Area landmarks to notice.

Record it

“Oprah Winfrey” (3 p.m., syndicated, ABC in the Bay Area). Roger Ebert, who’s undergone some pretty harrowing surgeries for cancer and has lost the ability to talk, “speaks” again through some pretty incredible computer voice program. He’ll be giving his Oscar predictions. In case you aren’t convinced why you should care about the famed film critic, read this column by Will Leitch on Deadspin.com. He’s a pretty amazing guy.

“Southland” (10 p.m., TNT). Season premiere. After showing the episodes that aired last year on NBC over the past several weeks, TNT starts airing the first of six new episodes tonight. The highly-acclaimed cop drama promises an even grittier season, with a level of violence and language that fits cable better than network TV. Tonight’s action includes a kidnapped man, a freeway shooting a police shooting that sparks a riot.

“White Collar” (10 p.m., USA). With the season winding down (only one episode left after tonight), Neal gets caught in a trap by a kidnapper who’s an old rival of his. You know, one problem I have with this series: For a guy as young as Neal, he sure has a looong past full of exploits, enemies and allies. He’d be more believable a character if he was at least 10-15 years older.

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). Tonight’s appetizer ingredients include fish and chocolate. I think I just threw up a little in my mouth. Should be interesting seeing how they make that work.

Skip it

“Aztec: Party at the Real Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., truTV). Real-life idiots party at the club in Seaside Heighs, N.J., that’s not Karma.
