Winter Olympics (8 p.m., NBC). American Linsdsey Jacobellis became an example of jackasserey four years ago when she lost her shot at a gold medal by showboating right before the finish line and falling. She’ll get a chance to redeem herself tonight in the snowboard-cross. Also: men’s figure skating and speedskating. The men’s super-combined skiing is scheduled, but may be postponed. If you have goof-off time in the afternoon, check out some men’s hockey as the USA and Canada both play their first games against overmatched opponents.

“Lost” (9 p.m., ABC). Locke tries to rally support for his cause. And we see Katey Sagal again as his ex.

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show (8 p.m. USA). This is it, the big winners are announced. “And to think that in some countries these dogs are eaten!”

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). Raw oysters are an ingredient in the appetizers, and fruit in the entree.

MSNBC: 2:30-5 p.m. — Women’s Ice Hockey-USA vs. Russia.
