On Sunday, it’s all about football. With two big games on, will there really be time to watch anything else? Other than that, there are a couple of debuts and a swan song. Here are the highlights:

 SUNDAY

The San Francisco 49ers face the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC championship at noon on Fox. Also, the AFC championship will be decided as the New England Patriots battle the Baltimore Ravens at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.

MONDAY

Violent drama “The Following” (9 p.m., Fox) stars Kevin Bacon, who’s on the trail of an escaped serial killer and his psychopathic followers.

TUESDAY

In the mood for yet another cooking competition? If so, tune in for the debut of “The Taste” (8 p.m., ABC) with Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson.

“Private Practice” (10 p.m., ABC) airs its final episode.

Neal and Peter work a case to try to clear Neal’s father’s name on “White Collar” (10 p.m., USA).

 WEDNESDAY

“Necessary Roughness” (10 p.m., USA) returns. I think it’s the only USA show I’ve never watched, so that’s all I’ve got.

 THURSDAY

It’s the last “Last Resort” (8 p.m., ABC). Here’s hoping for those of us who stuck around, there will be a satisfying payoff to the canceled-too-soon, doomed-sub drama.

“Glee” (9 p.m., Fox) is back with a new episode. What will New Directions do with no sectionals/regionals/nationals to look forward to?
