Thanks in large part to a groundswell of support from a Facebook campaign, Betty White will host “Saturday Night Live” for the first time May 8, Mother’s Day.
That’s pretty cool. At 88, White is still funnier than comedians a third her age, and she should add a good bit of spunk to a show that seriously needs some.
Joining her on the show will be an all-star group of “SNL” alums: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch. Should be an episode worth watching.
