I’d like to apologize to much of the Bay Area for waking them up last night. That was me screaming “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” a little after after midnight when I got home from work and found that my DVR failed to record “Lost.” Even though I specifically remember hitting the “record” button and noticing the episode’s title, “What Kate Does,” and then seeing the red button on it. Stupid Comcast.

So there’ll be no “Lost” reactions and theories from me today. I’m stuck in a holding pattern, avoiding all my favorite web sites and friends’ e-mails that contain spoilers, until the new episode shows up in On Demand, which better be really, really soon. (And no, even though I’m getting the shakes and starting to sweat, I refuse to watch it online; I have a giant HD TV for a reason.)
