So last night Santa Rosa’s own Channy Chooch had her 15 minutes of fame on the season premiere of ABC’s “The Bachelor.” And in her big moment in the spotlight, what witty, romantic, coy, sweet nothings did she decide to utter to her would-be suitor?

Wow.

(Note to Channy: Try “Rock of Love” next time. You might have scared off squeaky-clean, manbot pilot Jake, but Bret Michaels would totally dig a skeezy line like that. The lesson here: Know your audience. And don’t talk about your lady parts on primetime network TV. That’s what VH1’s for.)

And really, it could’ve been worse: At least Jake wasn’t a spelunker.
