Watch it

“Survivor: Samoa” (8 p.m., CBS). I think the only shocking thing Russell hasn’t done this season is seduce Shambo. Maybe tonight. (Ick.)

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Phyllis and Michael square off to play the office Santa. I hope this is better than last week’s most depressing episode ever.

“30 Rock” (9:30 p.m., NBC). Jack reunites with an old flame (Julianne Moore) on the Internet and Kenneth tries to organize a Secret Santa exchange.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m., FX). Ugh, the season finale already. The gang re-ignites a flip-cup rivalry. I have no idea what that means. Maybe it’s a Philly thing. But I’m sure hilarity will ensue.

“The League” (10:30 p.m., FX). Another season finale. The guys try to hide the Shiva Bowl trophy from the real Shiva, who Andre is now somehow dating.

Record it

“Parks & Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Leslie gets caught up in a sex scandal. This could be good.

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox.) Olivia gets closer to figuring out the mystery of the shape-shifters, and Leonard Nimoy is back as William Bell. (Wait, that’s it? No disgusting parasitic brain worms or anything?)

“Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., MTV). I’ve done a complete 180 on this show. It’s brilliant. Brilliantly, staggeringly, mind-blowingly awful, but brilliant nonetheless. It’s like watching a bullfight: You might be repulsed, but it’s a spectacle you just have to see to believe. Watch this show, and you’ll be talking about it all weekend despite your every effort not to. Or was that just me?

Skip it

“Community” (8 p.m., NBC). I tried it again last week to see if it had gotten any better. It hasn’t. Tonight does have a bit of potential, as Anthony Michael Hall guest-stars as a bully. But it’ll probably disappoint.
