“Surviving the Holidays with Lewis Black” (8 p.m., History Channel). The angriest comedian in America talks about the history of various holiday traditions. I know he has his rabid fans, but his screaming schtick gets old for me, really fast.

“Wright Out of Bounds” (8 p.m., Travel Channel). Ian Wright explores Sri Lanka. Hope he watches where he steps.

If you’re really bored . . .

Titans at Texans (5:30 p.m., ESPN). Two fairly uninteresting teams that I care almost nothing about. Still, it might be worth checking out just to see what Titans RB Chris Johnson and Texans QB Matt Schaub can put on the highlight reel.
