Watch it

“V” (8 p.m., ABC). The V’s get diplomatic visas, so now they can walk among us and kill traitors with immunity. (Yes, I’m getting a mental flashback of “Lethal Weapon 2” –the South African dude gloating “Deeepomateec Eeemunity!” before he gets riddled with Mel Gibson’s bullets. Only in the “V” version the guy has a lizard tongue.)

“Melrose Place” (9 p.m., The CW). Heather Locklear’s Amanda storms back to the MP. Here’s hoping she injects a little spark into the struggling show.

“Sons of Anarchy” (10 p.m., FX). Revenge is on SAMCRO’s minds: Jax, Clay, Opie, Chibs . . . . everyone wants blood. And I’m thinking they’re gonna get their wish.

“Daily Show” (11 p.m., Comedy Central). Vice President Joe Biden is the guest. What verbal gaffe will he make?

Record it

“Being Neil Armstrong” (8 p.m., BBC America). A profile of the first man on the moon, who has shunned the spotlight for 40 years. Since Armstrong doesn’t talk to the media, this documentary is a collection of stories from people who know and worked with him. Should be an interesting look at a true American hero.

“World War II in HD” (9 p.m., History Channel). Two more hours of WWII highlights. Tonight: The Allied push toward Germany and the battle of Saipan in the Pacific.

“Frontline: A Death in Tehran” (10 p.m., PBS). The story of Neda Soltani, the young woman who was shot and killed during June’s reformist protests in Iran, and became the face of the bloody crackdown.

Skip it

“The Prisoner” (8 p.m., ABC). The final two chapters in the boring miniseries. I’m not going to bother. Watch, it’ll probably turn out to be a dream or something lame.
