Watch it

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). TV’s most improved series. It’s funnier than “The Office” has been this season. Tonight, City Hall’s racist, violent and all-around horribly cringe-inducing “Spirit of Pawnee” mural is defaced, and it’s up to Leslie to come up with a new design.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Crazy rumors fly around the office and the staff questions Michael’s mental stability. Um, so it’s like any other day at Dunder-Mifflin.

“30 Rock” (9:30 p.m., NBC). The new cast member arrives – ooooh, is it really the human robot? Awesome. Also, Liz is offered her own talk show. Because that “deal-breaker” line can’t be beaten to death enough.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m, FX). Mac and Dennis break up, and Charlie “helps” Dee find her lost cat. Hilarity ensues.

“The League” (10:30 p.m., FX). The gang watches a game at Ruxin’s house with his new baby. Expect a poo joke. This show is totally raunchy and offensive, and I’m loving it. Trust me, the fantasy-league banter is true to life. And maybe not even raunchy and offensive enough.

Record it

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). A hostage crisis is somehow linked to Massive Dynamic. But isn’t everything that’s bad?

“House Hunters” (9 p.m., HGTV). NFL player Derrick Ward has $2 million to spend on a new house in the Tampa Bay area. Just guessing, but I think that’ll buy a realllllly nice place overlooking the Gulf. In a repeat episode at 9:30, a couple looks for a vacation home in the Napa Valley.

“Late Show with David Letterman” (11:30 p.m., CBS). Guest star Amanda Peet, who’s hot, and musical guest The Cribs, who rock. Nice combination. Seriously, The Cribs will be worth seeing, they’re catchy and crunchy.

If you’re a glutton for punishment

49ers at Bears (5:30 p.m., NFL Network, Ch. 12 in the Bay Area). Ahh, how quickly the Niners have slipped from almost exciting to completely unwatchable. Tonight you can watch them extend their losing streak and watch head coach Mike Singletary do or say something bizarre.

Skip it

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). I jumped off this slow-moving train. Too dumbed-down, too illogical, too boring. Too bad, it had such potential.

“The Jeff Dunham Show” (9 p.m, Comedy Central). I figured this show was dumb. Then I actually saw it and was stunned at just how stupid it is. And not funny stupid – it’s just stupid stupid. Tonight the puppet tries to become a rapper, so expect some vague racism on top of the usual inane ventriloquism.

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (9 p.m., E). If you missed Khloe and Lamar Odom’s big wedding on Sunday, here’s your chance to miss it again.
