Watch it

“Shark Tank” (8 p.m., ABC). In the season finale, a guy tries to sell his idea for a golf club/urine receptacle. Hopefully he doesn’t demonstrate how to use it.

“Dirty Jobs” (9 p.m., Discovery). Mike Rowe recycles toilets in San Francisco. So don’t complain about your crappy job.

“Sons of Anarchy” (10 p.m., FX). The boys are in jail, and Agent Stahl is back trying to play Jax and Clay off each other by offering them separate deals. I’m guessing they don’t bite. Speaking of biting, Jemma and Tara take on Lyla the porn star.

Record it

“30 for 30” (8 p.m., ESPN2). The documentary series continues with a look at the short-lived USFL. This should be a good one; I was one of the USFL’s 17 fans back in the mid-’80s, and it was a fun brand of football. Plus, I want to see those Oakland Invaders unis one more time.

“Monty Python: Almost the Truth” (10 p.m., IFC). Part 3 of the six-part documentary looks at censorship of the show by the BBC, John Cleese’s departure and how the troupe dealt with their exploding celebrity.

Game of the day

Yankees at Angels (4:30 p.m., Fox). Game 4 of the ALCS. The Angels pulled off a dramatic extra-inning win Monday; can they use that momentum to tie the series today?

Late-night crushes

Duelling hot-celebrity alert: Jon Hamm of “Mad Men” is on “The Tonight Show” with Conan O’Brien tonight (11:30 p.m., NBC), and Kristin Davis of “Sex and the City” is on Letterman’s “Late Show” (11:30 p.m., CBS). Couples across the country will be fighting over the remote.

Skip it

“Melrose Place” (9 p.m., The CW). Original “MP” resident Jo (Daphne Zuniga) makes a guest appearance, but even that won’t make this show watchable. Wait until Amanda’s back. No sign yet of Billy and Allison, thank god.
