Watch it

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). People react to what they saw in their visions, yadda yadda yadda. The big question is, will the plot advance in the first 55 minutes? After last week’s ending, we’d better get a peek at what happened in Somalia.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Jim and Pam are off on their honeymoon, and without their calming influence at the office, Dwight and Andy are convinced an insurance salesman is a Mafia enforcer trying to shake them down.

“30 Rock” (9:30 p.m., NBC). Season premiere. Network TV’s best comedy is back. Liz and the crew have to cut costs left and right, except for Jack of course, and Kenneth leads a page strike. Can’t wait.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (1o p.m., FX). The Waitress is getting married and Charlie is crushed. Maybe he’ll write another rock opera. Meanwhile, we learn waaay too much about Frank and Artemis’ bedroom activities (hint: it involves bacon in her hair).

Catch a score

Phillies at Dodgers (5 p.m., TBS). The National League Championship Series begins. I’m a fan of any team who’s playing the Dodgers, so  . . . go Phillies!

“NFL’s Greatest Games” (10:30 p.m., ESPN2). Highlights of what is arguably the greatest game in NFL history – the 1982 playoff matchup between the Chargers and the Dolphins. Otherwise known as The Kellen Winslow Game. Watch it and you’ll find out why.

Record it

“Community” (8 p.m., NBC). Only because it’s a Ken Jeong-centric episode; his Senor Chang threatens to flunk the whole class because one person cheated. Hey, my sixth-grade teacher tried to do the same thing!

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Leslie’s counterpart from Pawnee’s sister city in Venezuela visits. Culture shock ensues.

Skip it

“E Investigates: The Last Days of Michael Jackson” (10 p.m., E). There’s no E in “invstigativ rporting.” This promises to be trashy and tawdry. And not in a good way.
