Watch it

“Wanda Sykes: I’ma Be Me” (10 p.m., HBO). A new standup special by the acerbic comedian best known for her roles on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “New Adventures of Old Christine.” Expect hilariously blunt bits on Obama, growing old and living as a lesbian. Here’s a hint: If you’re easily offended, don’t watch. If you’re not, tune in and be prepared to laugh. A lot.

Might be worth checking out

“Saturday Night Live” (11:30 p.m., NBC). Tonight’s guests are Drew Barrymore and Regina Speckor. Mehh.

Games of the day

Presidents Cup (8 a.m., NBC). The biggest golf stars in the world tee off at Harding Park in San Francisco. It’s all about location — otherwise I wouldn’t care. But how often is the Sunset District on national TV?

Oregon at UCLA (1 p.m., ABC). A pretty good Pac-10 matchup. Don’t look for UCLA’s offense to do much against the Ducks’ suddenly unbreakable defense.

Dodgers at Cardinals (3 p.m., TBS). The Cards need to win to stay alive. Wonder how the home crowd will treat Matt Holliday after that horrible error cost them Game 1.

Stanford at Oregon State (4 p.m., CSN-CA). The Cardinal are off to a surprisingly good start. A win in Corvalis could make them real contenders for the Pac-10 title.

Warriors at Suns (6:30 p.m., TNT). Sure, preseason basketball is boring, but the Warriors could spontaneously combust at any moment, which makes them totally watchable. Will Stephen Jackson choke Don Nelson? Will Monta Ellis snub Stephen Curry? Which big man will get hurt next?

Phillies at Rockies (6:30 p.m., TBS). This should be awesome. If it isn’t snowed out. UPDATE: NEVER MIND, IT’S BEEN SNOWED OUT AND POSTPONED. Game-time temperatures should be in the high 20s, and snow is a distinct possibility. The only thing more miserable than sitting outside watching that for three hours would be hitting a 100-mph fastball with a wooden bat in temperatures like those. Brrrrr.
