I know I said to skip that UFL (it’s a new pro football league) game between San Francisco and Las Vegas that’s on right now, but nevermind, tune in to Versus and check it out, just for a minute. It’s bizarre. There are only four teams in the league, yet these two have almost identical color schemes. And from our TV in the newsroom (think small screen, 10 feet away) it’s almost impossible to tell the teams apart in the wide-angle shots.

And why are the referees dressed like Tiger Woods?

Not very high-quality football, either. Surprise, surprise. Guess that’s why there are only like 17 people in the stands.

Almost time to switch over to the Red Sox-Angels . . . .
