Watch it

Red Sox at Angels (6:30 p.m., TBS). Game 2 in probably the best playoff matchup of the first round.

There’s really nothing else worth watching tonight. Hit the ol’  DVR and watch that episode of  “Glee” or “FastForward” that you haven’t caught up to yet. But if you absolutely have to watch TV . . .

“The Soup” (10 p.m., E). An always amusing wrapup of the week in pop culture. If only Joel McHale was as funny on “Community” as he is on this.

“The Office” (midnight, Cartoon Network). The original British version. Tonight is the classic “Free Love on the Free Love Highway” episode.

Record it

“Star Wars: The Clone Wars” (8 p.m., Cartoon Network). Ehh, it can’t be much lamer than the live-action prequels, can it?

“Stargate Universe” (9 p.m., Syfy). Last week’s series premiere got better ratings than “Battlestar Galactica” ever did. Sigh. Tonight the crew scours a planet for some mineral for their life-support systems. Sounds like a storyline lifted directly from “BSG.” (Remember the plankton planet?)

“Psych” (10 p.m., USA). The guys help a client who thinks he’s a werewolf. And sadly, no, this isn’t a crossover episode with “Being Human.”

Skip it

“Monk” (9 p.m., USA). Isn’t this series done yet? Ugh.
