Watch it

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). A mysterious Nazi claims to know how the mass blackout occurred. Ehhh, I’d rather know why Mark and Olivia’s daughter is so creepy.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Hey, did you hear Pam and Jim are getting married? Wedding episodes are almost always awful, desperate ratings grabs. But I have higher hopes for this one. Oooh, be aware, it’s a special hour-long episode.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m., FX). The gang performs an intervention on Frank. For what? Hmmm, the possibilities are endless. Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe on “24”) guest-stars. As an aside, I think of this show whenever I hear that Peter, Bjorn & John song now. And I’m OK with that.

Record it

“Survivor” (8 p.m., CBS). I’m not even watching this, and even I’m sick of Russell and Jaison.

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Leslie goes on a practice date with Ann. I’m guessing there’s some wacky misunderstandings and double-entendres. And I’m OK with that too.

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). Olivia finally remembers details of what happened during her trip to the parallel universe. Hooo, haven’t we all had a vacation like that? Mine was spring training 2004 in Phoenix.

Games of the day

Baseball, baseball, baseball! There’s another playoff trifecta on TBS. The Rockies and Phillies start things at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Cardinals at Dodgers at 3 p.m., capped by the Red Sox at Angels at 6:30.

Skip it

UFL football: San Francisco vs. Las Vegas (6 p.m., Versus). This is just sick. Seriously, who is desperate enough for football – in October, mind you – to watch this? If you’re that much of a football nut, go watch Nebraska vs. Missouri on ESPN.
