So what’d you think about last night’s premiere of “FlashForward”? I’m a sucker for sci-fi mysteries, so I’m fully on board. Honestly, it had me after the fist 30 seconds.

I noticed lot of similarities to “Lost,” and not just in the casting of Sonya Wagner (Penny/Olivia) and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie/mystery man). You’ve got the big opening disaster, mass confusion, questions of destiny vs. free will and weird random animals in places they shouldn’t be. Just like “Lost,” the CGI effects looked a little cheesy, but I can overlook that as long as the story is compelling enough. And did anyone else catch the billboard for Oceanic Airlines?

How about that mysterious guy walking in the stadium? Kinda reminded me of that supposed Bigfoot film from the ’70s. Creepy.

All in all, I thought it was a pretty compelling, intriguing pilot. I’m curious to see where it goes, assuming  ABC doesn’t cancel it before its time.
