Giants vs. Dodgers (7 p.m., Ch. 3). The evil Dodgers are in town to renew one of baseball’s greatest rivalries, and it’s do-or-die time for the Giants if they want to be a playoff contender. Matt Cain takes the mound for the good guys.

Chefs vs. City (10 p.m., Food Network). Chris and Aaron hit Los Angeles, where they’ll make Thai smoothies, sell tacos and stomp grapes as they race against a couple of local chefs.
