Must-see

“Glee” (9 p.m., Fox). Three months after the preview episode, here’s the season premiere of the high school musical that everybody in the world loves. Well, except me. But I’ll check it out anyway. I’ve started out my week with a bleak, dark dose of “Breaking Bad,” “Durham County” and “Sons of Anarchy,” so maybe a little burst of niceness will do me good.

“Top Chef” (10 p.m., Bravo). The cheftestants must show off their traditional French cooking skills before a panel of some of the top French chefs in the country, including Hubert Keller.

Worth recording

“Man vs. Food” (10 p.m., Travel Channel). Adam hits Honolulu for some short ribs, Loco Moco and island-sized pancakes.

“Wipeout” (8 p.m., ABC). A special episode shot in Australia. I hear when Aussies splat on the big balls, they bounce counterclockwise.
