I’ve given him some time to settle in, but I’m still not digging Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night.” It’s his persona that’s equal parts fifth-grade awkwardness and puppy-dog eagerness that turns me off.

But even though the show in general bugs me, he’s had some pretty good musical guests on recently. The past few weeks have seen The National and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and last night featured the always amazing Iron & Wine. I caught the end of the show as he performed a new, unreleased track, “Godless Brother in Love.” But for me, even better than that is an online-only performance from last night’s show that I stumbled across today.

It’s Iron & Wine covering New Order’s classic “Love Vigilantes.” He released it a few years ago, but this is the first time I’ve see it live. (There’s an annoying ad at the beginning, but the song is worth it.)
