Watch it

World Series: Giants vs. Rangers (4:30 p.m., Fox). Game 2 from McCovey Cove. Matt Cain’s on the mound, but all the buzz is about the suddenly potent Giants offense. Wow, whoda thunk? Hope they can keep it up, for my stomach’s sake. The forecast calls for rain tonight, so this might be delayed.

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (8 p.m., ABC). Maybe this year it’ll finally appear to Linus.

“Project Runway” (9 p.m., Lifetime). The conclusion of the two-part season finale. Jessica Simpson guest-judges.

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m., FX). Dee’s pregnant, and says one of the guys is the baby daddy. Problem is, none of them can remember the night it happened, so they have to fit the blurry pieces together.

“The League” (10:30 p.m. FX). Kevin convinces everyone to go out to the suburbs for Halloween, and Taco steals a monkey. I think any show’s description would be improved by adding the phrase “and Taco steals a monkey.”

Record it

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). The staff competes for a prize in a Halloween costume contest, and Pam corners Sheriff Seth Bullock/Marshall Waylan Givens over their dating history.

“Dead Set” (9 p.m., IFC). Riq has to kill Alex after a zombie bites her. That’s always an awkward situation. Meanwhile, the zombie horde descends on the “Big Brother” house.

Skip it

“Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story” (8 p.m., Discovery). Who are they kidding? There’ll be plenty more, more detailed accounts once the miners sell their stories. This is just recapping three-week-old history.

“Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., MTV). It’s the reunion show, which is always a huge waste of time. Angelina will say mean things and act insulted, and Ronnie and Sammi will probably break up again. Big deal.
