Watch it
“Law & Order: UK” (9 p.m., BBC America). You know what? This might be the best version of the “L&O” franchise since the original started about 20 years ago. As long as you can understand the accents. Tonight an old murder case is reopened after a body is found in a shallow grave along the Thames.
Record it
“Blue Bloods” (10 p.m., CBS). Frank and Danny search for a homemade bomb set to go off in Manhattan, and argue about the benefits of racial profiling. Sounds like a very special episode.
Catch a score
Rangers vs. Yankees (5 p.m., TBS). Game 6 from Texas, and the Rangers can win the pennant with a victory.
Warriors vs. Lakers (7 p.m., ESPN). Preseason basketball is as boring as preseason everything else, but it’s nice national TV exposure for David Lee & Co.
