Watch it

“Wipeout” (8 p.m., ABC). Oooh, flying condiments and hot dogs.

“If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise” (9 p.m., HBO). Part 2 of Spike Lee’s follow-up to “When the Levees Broke,” examining how New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are faring five years after Hurricane Katrina, and the recent impact of the oil spill.

“Louie” (11 p.m., FX). Louie goes to the dentist (Stephen Root), who may be even more frightening than his doctor (Ricky Gervais).

Record it

“White Collar” (9 p.m., USA). Peter goes on the lam to help prove the innocence of a fellow FBI agent accused of being corrupt.

“Covert Affairs” (10 p.m., USA). Auggie finally gets a field assignment. But it involves tracking down his ex-girlfriend. Bummer.

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). Secret ingredients include frog legs, clementines and scotch.

Skip it

“Bad Girls Club” (9 p.m., Oxygen). Arguably better than “Bachelor Pad,” at least. At least this acknowledges its trashiness.
