Watch it

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Ahhh, finally a new episode. Will Arnett — Amy Poehler’s real-life husband — guest-stars as Leslie’s blind date, and he’s always worth watching.

“30 Rock” (9 and 9:30 p.m., NBC). More new episodes! In the first one, Jack gets in trouble over a New Year’s Eve drunk dial (ouch, who hasn’t been there?) and Jenna fakes a relationship with James Franco, who guest-stars. In the second episode, Liz’s new boyfriend makes Jack jealous, and Jenna tries to land a role on “Gossip Girl,” which makes me laugh just thinking about it.

“Archer” (10 and 10:30 p.m., FX). Season premiere. (Well, kinda. The pilot aired in September.) This animated spy spoof is sick, twisted and very, very funny. It’s not for the easily offended, but if you’re a fan of Adult Swim and “Family Guy” and such, definitely check it out.

“The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” (11:35 p.m., NBC). For as long as this late-night drama goes on, this is must-see TV. Conan’s been extra sharp this week. Guests tonight are Rob Lowe and Jane Krakowski.

Record it

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). Oooh, humans with horrible deformities go on the attack in upstate New York. Reminds me of that “X-Files” episode, “Home.” If this is half as creepy, then watch out .  .  .

“Project Runway” (10 p.m., Lifetime). Season premiere. My girlfriend assures me this is a big deal, and she’s optimistic it’ll be better than the weak previous season, mostly because it hasn’t been sitting on a shelf for a year. Also, they apparently picked the cast based more on design skills and less on crazy personalities.

“Ace of Cakes” (10 p.m., Food Network). Season premiere. Duff gets a man cave from DIY network. How’s that for corporate synergy?

“Jersey Shore” (10 and 11  p.m., MTV). Road trip! The gang terrorizes Atlantic City. And JWoWW gets fed up with The Situation and kicks his butt. Then in the second episode, Pauly D gets a stalker and yet another roommate gets thrown in jail for fighting.

“Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force” (10 and 10:30 p.m., A&E). Season premiere. It’s “Cops,” but with federal marshals. Tonight, marshals set up a sting to catch a illegal immigrant fugitive in New York.

Skip it

“Grey’s Anatomy”/”Private Practice” (9 and 10 p.m., ABC). It’s a very special crossover episode. Ugh.
