Following is the traditional reunion special, where Jeff spends about a minute interviewing earlier rejects we’ve long since forgotten about, and the rest of the time talking to or about the final three. Watch this (week of April 28)

SUNDAY On the season finale of “The Good Wife” (9 p.m., CBS), everything comes to a head: the outcome of Peter’s gubernatorial run, Cary’s decision to start his own firm, and Alicia’s conflicted feelings for the two men in her life, Peter and Will. Hopefully, there’s enough closure to keep viewers contented until next season, but enough scandal to make us count the days till fall. A few new shows sticking around

Networks are busy poring through the ratings, shuffling their schedules and shifting attention to midseason. Some news of note this week: It was a good week for a few freshman dramas. Two CBS shows got picked up for a full season: the modern day take on Sherlock Holmes “Elementary” and period cop-mob drama “Vegas.” Fans of the CW’s “Arrow” also can take heart; the superhero drama will be sticking around for a full season. “X-Factor” will be returning next year for… Read More »

How are new shows doing?

This season’s first casualty was the CW’s legal dramedy “Made in Jersey,” which was canceled after just two episodes. Here’s a look at how some of the other new shows are doing. “Revolution,” (10 p.m. Monday, NBC) Should you watch? This show takes place 15 years after a big blackout left the world in the dark. Interesting premise, sometimes shaky execution. And some of the characters’ actions can be a little infuriating. Last week, for example, when the group attempted… Read More »

New fall TV shows

For the next few weeks, the networks will try to suck you in with all those bright and shiny new shows… and then about a month after that, they’ll start being quietly canceled. Well, not all of them, of course. Which ones are you going to watch? I’m most interested in “Last Resort,” “Nashville,” “Ben and Kate,” “Animal Practice” and “Revolution.” Then again, I’m also kinda intrigued by “The New Normal,” “Elementary” and “666 Park Avenue.” What can I say…… Read More »
