The Big Bang Theory is probably the best mainstream comedy on TV, it has broad appeal and critical acclaim and it is well deserved; the cast is highly talented and the writing is brilliant.  Most of all, I am looking forward to seeing the future evolution of Sheldon and Amy’s relationship, it will be hilarious, heartwarming and full of awkward moments.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is second on my list in order of excitement and anticipation, just behind The Blacklist.  I can’t wait to find out how they resurrect Agent Coulson, who died in The Avengers movie but is nonetheless in the TV series.  If you are among the throngs who enjoyed the Marvel Comics based movies, you will know what I mean, and most likely will want to watch this series.  I’m having a little gathering for my geeky friends, we will drink beer (or root beer in the event my mother is reading this) and eat pizza and talk about how great the show is, we might even dress up; I call Agent Coulson!

The Big Bang Theory premieres September 26 at 9 PM on CBS
