SUNDAY

After a lengthy absence, “Unforgettable” (9 p.m., CBS) returns for its second season, with Carrie joining a high-profile crimes unit and investigating  a kidnapping.

On “Crossing Lines” (10 p.m., NBC) , the team also investigates an abduction, although in this case, it’s not a child but Hickman who’s taken.

MONDAY

Do you enjoy watching  stuntmen, fitness instructors and Regular Joes (and Janes) with rock-hard abs (or not) swing, jump and cling to obstacles along a course, with many of them falling in sometimes spectacular fashion? Of course I’m talking about “American Ninja Warrior” (8 p.m., NBC).

If you need more of an action-endurance fix, “Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls” (9 p.m., NBC) follows, with seven teams remaining.

If you get the Sundance channel, you can also tune in to new series “The Writers’ Room,” which goes behind the scenes to see the creativity and collaboration that goes into writing a TV show. Tonight, the show in question is “Breaking Bad.” (TV? Writing? Bryan Cranston?  The geek in me can’t wait.)

TUESDAY

Anna Kendrick is a guest-judge as the Top 14 perform on “So You Think You Can Dance” (8 p.m., Fox).

Not in the mood for reality TV? There’s the always reliable USA double-header of “Covert Affairs” (9 p.m.) and “Suits” (10 p.m.)  On “Suits,” Harvey and Mike are working together again, this time on a murder case. But more importantly, has Harvey really forgiven Mike? And how will Louis react to last week’s rejection?  (Something tells me not well.)

WEDNESDAY

Two summer series, with completely different vibes, air new episodes tonight. On the creepy and addictive “The Bridge” (10 p.m, FX),  Marco breaks the rules in the search for the killer. (Sonya’s not gonna like that.)

For lighter fare, it’s Valentine’s Day (but not really, since it’s summer and all) on “Camp” (10 p.m., NBC), and Mack gets one-on-one time with Roger.

THURSDAY

Now that Bigotgate has calmed down (at least as of this writing), “Big Brother” (9 p.m., CBS) gets back to focusing on what’s important: the partying, the hookups and the back-stabbing. Oh, and someone is evicted and a new Head of Household is picked.

FRIDAY

New series “Would You Fall For That?” (9 p.m., ABC) asks would you fall…. Well, you get the point.

Also tonight, “America’s Next Top Model” (8 p.m., the CW) begins its 20th season.

(The end of the week  seems to be  a really could time to clean out the DVR or catch a movie.)
