Watch it

“Community” (8 p.m., NBC). Troy and Abed compete for the affections of the college librarian. I didn’t get a chance to mention it last week, but I thought that “Dungeons & Dragons”/Fat Neil episode was outstanding. The series is still inconsistent, but when it fires on all cylinders, it’s one of the best comedies on TV.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Michael and Holly’s public displays of affection gross out the office.

“Parks and Recreation” (9:30 p.m., NBC). Tom gets revenge on Ron by dating his ex-wife, Tammy (Megan Mullally). Mullally absolutely killed this role last season, this should be a good one.

“30 Rock” (10 p.m., NBC). Avery goes into labor, but it’s in — gasp! — Canada. So she and Jack try to race across the border so they can give birth to an American. Meanwhile, Liz’s romantic getaway with Carol (Matt Damon) doesn’t go anywhere.

“The Daily Show” (11 p.m., Comedy Central). Michael Steele, the former Republican National Committee chairman who “The Daily Show” has portrayed as a muppet for the past few years, is the guest. Let’s see if he has a sense of humor.

Record it

“Wipeout” (8 p.m., ABC). More splats.

“Archer” (10 p.m., FX). Sterling has to take a paternity test after his favorite call girl gets knocked up. As Archer would say: “Dammit.”

“Ace of Cakes” (10 p.m., Food Network). It’s the series finale, as Duff and the gang make a “Back to the Future” cake.

“Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., MTV). Now broken up, Ronnie and Sammi go into scorched-earth mode, and she decides to go home. But will she be gone for good? (Hint: No.)

Skip it

“American Idol” (8 p.m., Fox). The Hollywood competition begins. Mehh.

“Perfect Couples” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Still not very funny.
