“Ricky Gervais Show” (9 p.m., HBO). Season premiere. The animated version of the popular podcast is back for a second season. Tonight’s topics are Karl-centric, including his movie-studio pitch, his diary notes from a trip to Australia, and visiting with his girlfriend’s parents.

“Human Target” (8 and 9 p.m., Fox). This got bumped from Wednesday’s lineup after President Obama’s speech in Tucson ran long. Tonight, Ilsa’s sister gets taken hostage at the opera, then Guerrero is framed for a friend’s murder and jailed.

“Flying Wild Alaska” (9 p.m., Discovery). Series premiere. Yet another Alaska-based reality series. This one’s about a family of bush pilots who ferry supplies to remote villages. Next up for Alaska: A show about a governor who flies supplies to gold miners and crab fishermen while working with state troopers to catch speeders on an ice road.

“Four Weddings” (10 p.m., TLC). Season premiere. Four brides compete for who can put on the best wedding. Tonight, a perfectionist plans a huge banquet, another gets hitched on her college campus and one of the brides cries. Only one?
