“Firefly” (starting at 9 a.m., Ovation). Catch a daylong marathon of Joss Whedon’s brilliant but canceled space Western from 2002. It runs until midnight.

NFL playoffs: Saints vs. Seahawks (1:30 p.m., NBC). The Super Bowl champs play the worst team to ever make the playoffs. Fun.

NFL playoffs: Jets vs. Colts (5 p.m., NBC). The Jets are looking to avenge last season’s playoff loss. They should have a pretty good chance.

“Saturday Night Live” (11:30 p.m., NBC). Jim Carrey hosts with musical guests The Black Keys.
