Watch it

“Top Gear” (10 p.m., History). A Honda CR-Z races mountain bikes on the streets of San Francisco, the guys sell used cars and Tim Allen takes a spin on the test track.

Record it

“30 for 30” (11 a.m. ESPN2). “The Best There Never Was,” about the rise and fall of highly recruited running back Marcus Dupree. This may be the single best episode of the documentary series, definitely worth checking out.

“Worst Cooks in America” (9 p.m. Food Network). Season premiere. This was sort of amusing last year. Tonight, 16 new clueless home cooks try to improve their kitchen skilled under the tutelage of hosts Anne Burrell and Robert Irvine.

Games of the day

Bucs vs. Saints (10 a.m., Fox). The Saints’ final playoff tuneup before they try to defend their Super Bowl title.

Raiders vs. Chiefs (10 a.m., CBS). If the Raiders win, they clinch a non-losing season. That’d be pretty huge.

Cardinals vs. 49ers (1:15 p.m., Fox). A completely meaningless game no one cares about. But it’s a chance to see Alex Smith play for the last time in a 49ers uniform.

Rams vs. Seahawks (5 p.m., NBC). With the winner getting the NFC West crown. And that could be the Rams, at 7-9. Ugh.

College basketball: Cal vs. Stanford (5 p.m., CSN-BA). Bay Area bragging rights are at stake.
