Watch it

Bears vs. Vikings (5:30 p.m., ESPN). Remember the days when men were men and football was played outdoors, in snowstorms, on the frozen tundra? That’s tonight in Minnesota, where the game will be played outside on a frozen field. The forecast calls for snow and a high of 25 degrees. That alone makes it a game worth watching.

“Men of a Certain Age” (10 p.m., TNT). Joe tries to date two women at once, and Owen tries to get his father to stop undermining him at work.

Record it

“The Closer” (9 p.m., TNT). A Christmas Eve murder throws everyone’s holiday plans into a tizzy. Part 1 of 2.

UPDATE: “Perfect Couples” (10 p.m., NBC). A late addition to the lineup — NBC is previewing this new romantic comedy. Looks very mehh (read a review here).

“Million Dollar Money Drop” (8 p.m., Fox). Series premiere. The latest incarnation of the stupidest game show you’ve ever seen. The fact that it’s debuting during the least-watched TV week of the year should tell you something.
