Watch it

“Survivor: Nicaragua” (8 p.m., CBS). Well, at least two people won’t quit this week. Probably.

“Modern Family” (9 p.m., ABC). It’s Luke and Manny’s first school dance; meanwhile, Mitchell and Cameron are taken aback when Lily isn’t so perfect at the playground.

“Cougar Town” (9:30 p.m., ABC). Jules tries to make Bobby’s boat seaworthy again, while Bobby takes on Andy to be hs caddie at a golf tournament. Hilarity and wine-drinking ensue.

“Top Chef All-Stars” (10 p.m., Bravo). Last week’s season premiere was a lot of fun, it was good to see some favorites from past seasons. But when did Fabio become such a humorless, egotistical jerk? Hmm, too bad. Tonight the cheftestants cook up kids’ snacks at the Museum of Natural History in New York, and then come up with kids’ breakfasts dishes.

Record it

“Human Target” (8 p.m., Fox). Chance has to reach out to an old enemy in order to save Ilsa’s captured friend. And then something will blow up.

“MythBusters” (9 p.m., Discovery). It’s a special episode as President Obama directs the team to test Archimedes’ “death ray.” Which is weird, because they’ve already busted that myth twice before. Maybe he’s desperate to have some weapon to use against Republicans in Congress.

“Psych” (10 p.m., USA). Shawn and Gus enroll in the police academy. Hijinks ensue.

“House Hunters International” (10:30 p.m., HGTV). A couple looks for a secluded house in the Seychilles.

Skip it

“The Sing-Off” (8 p.m., NBC). As if you weren’t sick of Kings of Leon enough: Tonight the a cappella groups collaborate to sing the overplayed “Use Somebody.” Ugggggh.

“The 8-Limbed Boy” (10 p.m., TLC). That title just creeps me out.
