Watch it

Giants vs. Phillies (4:30 p.m., Fox). Game 5 from San Francisco. With a victory, the Giants go to the World Series and my heart may explode from overexcitement. Both teams will have their aces on the mound — Tim Lincecum vs. Roy Halladay. Folks, this will be a good one.  I don’t care if you’re not a baseball fan, you owe it to yourself to tune in and see what your co-workers and neighbors are cheering about. It’s the best drama on TV.

“30 Rock” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Jack meddles in Liz’s relationship, while Jenna and Kenneth get Kelsey Grammar to help them out.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). One big reason to watch: Timothy Olyphant. The star of “Deadwood” and FX’s “Justified” guests as a rival paper salesman who’s poaching Dunder Mifflin’s clients. Michael and Dwight set up a sting to nab him. But dude, he’s Seth Bullock, he can’t be intimidated!

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m., FX). Mac’s mom burns her house down, and has to move in with Charlie’s mom. Old-person hilarity ensues.

“The League” (10:30 p.m., FX). Ruxin throws an anniversary party for his wife on the same day as Jenny’s birthday. So yeah, the age-old real-life problem of hurt feelings and deciding which party to go to, only this will have a ton of raunchy language. Hey wait, real life has that too.

Record it

“Project Runway” (9 p.m., Lifetime). In Part 1 of the two-part season finale, Tim Gunn makes home visits to each of the four remaining designers.

“Night of Too Many Stars” (9 p.m., Comedy Central). Jon Stewart hosts his fundraiser for autism awareness, with guests Lewis Black, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Sarah Silverman, Jim Gaffigan and many more. Should be worth a few laughs.

Skip it

“Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., MTV).  Season 2 finally ends with a huge fight between Pauly D and JWoww. God, finally something happens. Season 2 has been so boring, I knew they should have done one season and that’s it, go out on a high note. But no . . . .
