Watch it

Giants vs. Phillies (1 p.m., Fox). Either call in sick, take a half-day or take a looooong lunch. The NLCS comes to McCovey Cove, with Matt Cain on the mound. BTW, it’s a mystery why they scheduled this game so early; “Glee” is a rerun tonight. I think it’s just because the networks hate the West Coast.

“30 for 30” (8 p.m., ESPN). “Beyond the Limit,” a look at NASCAR driver Tim Richmond, who died from AIDS just  a few years after a spectacularly successful racing season.

“Dirty Jobs” (9 p.m., Discovery). Season premiere. Mike visits an exotic animal ranch and cleans lemur poop. Or something just as gross.

“Sons of Anarchy” (10 p.m., FX). The gang prepares to head off to Belfast (which is sure to be nothing short of awesome), but their truce with the Mayans is threatened.

Record it

“Parenthood” (10 p.m., NBC). It’s Halloween, and no one’s happy: Zeek’s bummed because no one else is excited for trick-or-treating, Max’s plans worry his parents and Sydney’s costume worries Julia. Ahhh, the holidays.

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). Ooooh, with a special Halloween-themed challenge.

“Caprica” (10 p.m., Syfy). Daniel manages to regain control of his company, but at a price. And Sister Clarice tries to break Lacy.

Catch a score

Yankees vs. Rangers (5 p.m., TBS). Game 4 from New York.

Skip it

“Running Wilde” (9:30 p.m., Fox). Still not funny. Time to give up. It’s not a hard decision either: The ratings are terrible and it’ll probably be canceled soon.

“Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time” (10 p.m., Comedy Central). So stupid. And not in a good way.
