Catch a score

Giants vs. Braves (6:30 p.m., TBS). After seven long years, the Giants are back in the playoffs. I’m pumped. It’ll be Tim Lincecum vs. Derek Lowe, with Barry Zito locked in a broom closet way in the back of the clubhouse.

Rangers vs. Rays (11:30 a.m., TBS). Texas pulled a surprise in Game 1; can they go up 2-0 on the road?

Yankees vs. Twins (3 p.m., TBS). Stinkin’ Yankees. They always find a way to win. I’m pulling for the Twins, but don’t hold out much hope.

Watch it

“30 Rock” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Jack goes before Congress to smooth the KableTown takeover of NBC, and Jenna tries to get Kenneth his page job back. Queen Latifah guest-stars.

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). Over on Earth B, Olivia is haunted by visions after having her memories wiped, and Walternate reveals his eeeevil plan to Alt-Broyles (who needs a better nickname).

“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (10 p.m., FX). Mac wins a radio contest and the rest of the gang start a podcast. Hilarity ensues.

“The League” (10:30 p.m., FX). The guys try to kick creepy Rafi out of the league. Rob Huebel guest-stars as his possible replacement.

“Late Show with David Letterman” (11:35 p.m., CBS). Good lineup tonight: Stephen Colbert and musical guest Gorillaz.

Record it

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). Andy invites the office to see him perform in a local production of “Sweeney Todd,” and Michael tries to steal his spotlight.

“Project Runway” (9 p.m., Lifetime). The designers have to make something for Heidi Klum’s fashion line.

“The Promise: The Making of ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’ “ (9 p.m., HBO). A new documentary chronicling the creative process and recording sessions of Bruce Springsteen’s classic 1978 album. I’m not a big Springsteen fan, but this still sounds pretty cool.

Skip it

“Real Housewives of D.C.” (9 p.m., Bravo). That idiot couple crashes the White House dinner in the season finale. Don’t bother giving them the attention they crave.
