It’s not exactly “Friday Night Lights,” but a couple of local high school football teams will get some TV exposure next month.  Defending North Bay League champion Montgomery will travel to Petaluma to take on Sonoma County League power Casa Grande on Friday, Sept. 24. Comcast Hometown Network (Ch. 104 on Comcast Digital) will air the game the following night, Saturday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. The game will be the first of 10 Bay Area and Central Valley games to be televised this fall by Comcast Hometown.

24-hour tape-delay is a great way to suck all the excitement out of a game, but if your team is on the winning side (or if you undertake a media blackout) it might be fun to watch.
