Watch it

NBA Finals: Celtics vs. Lakers (6 p.m., ABC). The Celtics need just one more win to clinch the championship; can the Lakers win at home tonight to stay alive? My money says “yup,” which will set up a decisive Game 7.

“Deadliest Catch” (9 p.m., Discovery). A deep dark secret is revealed onboard the Cornelia Marie. Ooooooh. Elsewhere, a Coast Guard helicopter attempts a risky rescue mission.

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). Ingredients include turbot and English muffins.

Record it

“Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” (9 p.m., Bravo). Season premiere. Kathy asks Liza Minnelli for acting advice.

World Cup

New Zealand vs. Slovakia (4:30 a.m., ESPN). A team nicknamed the All Whites playing in South Africa. That’s unfortunate.

Ivory Coast vs. Portugal (7 a.m., ESPN). Should be the best game of the tournament so far. The winner gets the upper hand in advancing from the “Group of Death.”

Brazil vs. North Korea (11:30 a.m., ESPN). Brazil’s always worth watching.

Chile vs. Honduras (4:30 a.m. Wednesday, ESPN). Zzzzzzzzz.

Skip it

“Cupcake Wars” (9 p.m., Food Network). Baking competitions and the cupcake trend: I’m kinda sick of both.
