UPDATE: “Gavin & Stacey” (9 p.m., BBC America). Season premiere. Oops, I forgot about this. It’s a pretty funny romantic comedy sitcom, if you can decipher the Welsh accents.

“Friday Night Lights” (10 p.m., NBC). I just realized this is going to be a big problem, all summer long. NBC-11 broadcasts Giants games most Friday nights. So that’ll delay “FNL” from airing until after the game, and lord knows when that’ll be, since baseball games have a nasty habit of not ending on time. In other words, if you record it, you’ll have to record like a 90-minute block, and even then you might not get the whole show, if the game goes extra innings. Honestly? If you have Comcast, watch “FNL” on On Demand. Grrrrrr.
