Wow, another week of nothing on as NBC’s comedies take a break.

Watch it

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). Peter Weller guest stars as a mysterious guy who might have sucked the lifeforce from a trainful of passengers.

“Ace of Cakes” (10 p.m., Food Network). Duff and the crew make a big cake for the 20th anniversary of Acoustic Guitar magazine in San Rafael. I used to work with a guy who I think still works there; I’ll keep an eye out for him.

Record it

“Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” (8 p.m., CBS). Oh who am I kidding, I don’t even care anymore.

“Project Runway” (10 p.m., Lifetime). It’s part one of the season finale.

Skip it

“Saturday Night Live in the 200s: Time and Again” (9 p.m., NBC). Highlights from the past decade of “SNL.” Um, seeing how there’s almost universal agreement that the show has pretty much sucked for the past decade, why bother slogging through two hours(!) of this?

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). Demetri gets his death date confirmed. That’s an eerie bit of foreshadowing, because I think the series will find out its own death date pretty soon (hint: mid-May).
