Watch it

“Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” (8 p.m., CBS). Colby, spared elimination last week, has to step up as a leader of the Heroes. Meanwhile, Russell and Boston Rob scheme against each other. Rob freakin rules. He’d better prevail.

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). It’s back from a midseason hiatus with a new episode delving into Peter’s inter-dimensional origins. Should be a perfectly reasonable, understandable story for anyone who’s been watching “Lost.”

Record it

“Supernatural” (9 p.m., The CW). I have friends who rave about it, but I’ve never seen it. With little else on tonight, maybe it’s time to check it out. Tonight Sam and Dean are fatally shot and go to heaven, and they have to find an angel to get them back to Earth. Ummm, OK.

“Project Runway” (10 p.m., Bravo). Jessica Alba guests as a judge as the contestants have to design an outfit for host Heidi Klum.

“Fugitive Chronicles” (10 p.m., A&E). Series premiere. A new documentary series following real-life criminal escape stories, with interviews from both the police and the fugitive. Doesn’t sound particularly groundbreaking, but it might be interesting.

Play ball!

A’s at Giants (7 p.m., CSN-BA). Spring training’s about over, and it’s time for the Bay Bridge series at McCovey Cove. Enjoy this one from the comfort of your home, it’ll be cold and wet in the stands.

“Food Tech” (9 p.m., History). Following the baseball theme, it’s an inside look at ballpark food: hot dogs, beer and Cracker Jacks.

Greatest hits

“The Office” (8 and 9 p.m., NBC). A couple of reruns tonight, and really the only two standout episodes of the season: Pam and Jim’s wedding, and the birth of their daughter. If you’ve already seen them, I don’t know the appeal of seeing them again so soon. If you’re a regular watcher of NBC’s Thursday comedy block, tonight’s the night to expand your horizon and watch something else, just this once.

Skip it

“FlashForward” (8 p.m., ABC). The team travels to Somalia to investigate a previous mass blackout. ‘Bout time. Some people have been waiting six months for that. I lost interest. One big reason why you should be careful investing your time in this series: Ratings in the two weeks since it returned have been awful, and it’s looking more likely like it’ll be canceled.

“Marriage Ref” (10 p.m., NBC). Tonight’s judges: Jimmy Fallon, Kirstie Alley and and Sheryl Crow. Um, no thanks.
