Watch it

NCAA Tournament (starting at 9 a.m., CBS). After three days, it’s been one of the most exciting tournaments in recent memory, with upsets at every turn (way to go, St. Mary’s!). Will there be more today? Here are today’s featured games:

Syracuse vs. Gonzaga , 9 a.m.
Georgia Tech vs. Ohio State, 11 a.m.
Cal vs. Duke, 2 p.m.

“America’s Worst Driver” (7 p.m., Travel). Tonight they’re in Boston. Wow, this could be a tight competition to find the worst driver.

“Amazing Race” (8 p.m., CBS). The teams travel to France, where they have to pour champagne into a pyramid of glasses without breaking any. Based on the previews, this does not go well for at least one team. Meanwhile, another team goes to the wrong city on a Detour. Sigh. This collection of racers isn’t impressing me very much.

“The Pacific” (9 p.m., HBO). The Marines continue their brutal fighting on Guadalcanal, and Basilone becomes a hero when the Japanese attack the U.S. airfield.

“Breaking Bad” (10 p.m., AMC). Season premiere. Walt has to deal with a furious wife and a couple Mexican cartel hitmen. It’s hard to tell which is more dangerous. And rehab forces Jesse to see some harsh revelations about himself. This series is so, so good, I can’t wait for it to start.

Record it

“Life” (8 p.m., Discovery). Series premiere. Part 1 of a new epic nature miniseries, narrated by Oprah, detailing wildlife around the globe. Think “Planet Earth,” but focusing more on animals. Part 1 shows extreme stories of survival, and Part 2 (at 9 p.m.) examines reptiles and amphibians. Count on it being a sumptuous feast for your eyes if you have high-def, and it’ll be totally worth watching. Just maybe not tonight. Save it for later in the week when there’s nothing good on.

“House Hunters International” (8:30 p.m., HGTV). A couple looks for a place in Buenos Aires. Here’s what I love: They have to pay in cash. Just once, I want HGTV to show that transaction. Do they carry a giant briefcase of cash? Or back up an armored car? I want to know.

“Ultimate Recipe Showdown” (9 p.m., Food Network). Home cooks vie for the best party food recipe.

“The Antonio Treatment” (10 p.m., HGTV). The new show by the winner of last season’s “Next Design Star.” My girlfriend says it’s pretty good, and I trust her. Tonight, Antonio redesigns a punk-rock clothing store in L.A. Though dude, hiring a TV celebrity to redesign your store is so not punk rock.

“How to Make It in America” (10 p.m. HBO). Ben and Cam hustle to get their T-shirt order done for their Japanese buyer.

Skip it

“Minute to Win It” (8 p.m., NBC). Come on, you can’t be this bored.

“Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” (10 p.m., ABC). A sneak preview of the British celebrity chef’s new show, where he tries to get Huntington, W. Va. — dubbed the unhealthiest city in America — to eat right. Let’s just say he’s not embraced with open arms by Huntingtonians. Maybe they’re on to something — the show’s preachy and schmaltzy, and not particularly eye-opening to anyone who’s been paying attention to this whole “nutrition” thing.

“Kirstie Alley’s Big Life” (10 p.m., A&E). Series premiere. Watch Alley try to lose weight. Wow, someone’s starved for attention.
