Hey, real TV is back! We don’t have to pretend to care about curling anymore! Woo hoo!

Watch it

“No Reservations” (7 p.m., Travel Channel). Another week, another random time. This is getting ridiculous. Tonight Tony’s in Ecuador, chowing down on guinea pig. It’ll be rerun at 11 p.m. too.

“Chuck” (8 p.m., NBC). Chuck invites Hannah to a homemade dinner with his sister and Awesome. But before he can whip up a meal, Chuck has a pesky assassin to deal with. Meanwhile, Sarah tries to keep things purely professional with Superman. So the fanboys can calm down, for now.

“Life Unexpected” (9 p.m., The CW). Baze and Ryan face off, in more ways than one.

“Damages” (10 p.m., FX). This is the best drama on TV, hands-down. Tonight Tom starts to crack under the pressure, Ellen finds new evidence in Louis Tobin’s death, and Patty — desperate to make headway in tracking down Tobin’s money — strikes a curious deal.

“Late Show with David Letterman” (11:30 p.m., CBS). Who cares who the guests are — just watch as a form of silent protest against Jay Leno’s return to late night.

Record it

“How I Met Your Mother” (8 p.m., CBS). Carrie Underwood guests as a girl who’s stringing along Ted.

“The Bachelor” (8 p.m., ABC). Guys, you’ve gotta bite the bullet on this one. I’ve learned to. Who will Jake pick: Vienna or Tensley? (As if you haven’t seen the spoilers all over the Internet.)

“Top Gear” (8 p.m., BBC America). The guys must buy cheap pre-1982 cars and race them at a classic car rally in Majorca. Cool.

“Paranatural” (9 p.m., National Geographic). An investigation into mysterious lights seen over Texas and Norway. (UFO’s, obviously!)

Skip it

“The Bachelor: After the Rose” (10:05 p.m., ABC). Oh good lord, can they milk this thing any more? It’s a recap of the show you just watched! Just shameless. And at the end, they’ll reveal the next Bachelorette. Could it be Ali or Gia? (God, I’m sad that I can speculate on that.)

“Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (11:35 p.m., NBC). What a joke. Watch Letterman instead, just on principle.
